Contributing to Island Education

Graphically Speaking has been included in the new PEI Grade 3 Social Studies book called “My Province”. I’m mentioned in the section which speaks about employment opportunities saying “Technology makes it possible for people to work in rural areas and connect with co-workers [or clients] in urban centres.”

I think it’s good to be teaching the children that adults don’t necessarily have to live in a city to have a wide variety of jobs available to them. Photo of me for the book was taken by John Sylvester.
