Minute to Win it!

Most of us are familiar with this game in which contestants have a minute to complete a challenge made from various household objects.

blog logos set 1Some of the tasks seem impossible to complete as the 60 seconds seem to fly by.In the marketing world it would be wonderful to have an entire minute of a customer’s undivided attention. In reality people are bombarded by attempts from a seemingly endless number of companies vying for their attention. A business only has about only 2–3 seconds to capture someone’s interest enough for them to stop and learn more about the product or service being promoted. I decided to photograph logos I typically see in just the first 25 minutes of my day. Only some are shown here intentionally interrupting the flow of text.There were many others I could have chosen so just imagine how many we see during each waking hour of every day. And this doesn’t include the deluge of print, visual and audio advertisements.The sensory overload being experienced by today’s consumers creates an enormous challenge for businesses trying to have a memorable visual voice.

Using templates and mass produced artwork gets lost in the the visual clutter. Your chances of being noticed increase with unique visuals. Use your branding dollars wisely and stand out for all the right reasons.
